I have a couple of blankets that look very similar to yours. A friend of my Nanna's made them about 30 years ago. They are still in pretty good condition.
My Grandma knitted beautiful jumpers. I'm sure my Mum has kept a few of the cutest ones. I have one left that she knitted before she died (that still fits) and I treasure it greatly. The only other thing I can think of is the sheepskins we all had, not exactly airlooms, but they followed us around well into our teens...
My great-aunt knitted one for my little girl and it's so special to us! We hope to have it for a long time. I am inspired and encouraged to see that you still have yours!

We've had a few of those, both nanna and mum knitted them.

My grandmother didn't but her sister and my great grandmother did. We have a few baby clothes that my great grandmother made as well.
Those blankets are the best. We love them so much we even got a couple at an auction to add to what we have. They're so warm.
Hoe neat that you all found this treasure that your grandmother made. I love it!!
What a great heirloom to have and definately funky !

We didn't have these woollen ones, but we had patchwork quilts which my Gran made; I loved those. Oh I miss her! :(
