Mysterious Virus not such a mystery anymore!

I went to my Doctor for a check up today. Not good news :(

+ for Ross River Fever... Blasted bloody mozzies!!! I HATE THEM!!
+ for Parvo......

So at least we have answers , but I have so much to be concerned about now. Please pray for me and my unborn baby (shhhhh).

That is indeed very sucky (except for the last bit which is SUPER exciting... and to think you wanted to stop blogging...) Hope you're feeling a lot better soon.

(a) THERE'S "something worthwhile" to blog about!!!

(b) it's not a secret anymore is it?!?!? So ... is it ... public knowledge? Cos blogging it in a small font doesn't really make it a *secret,* except from The Extremely Myopic.

(c) Oh no, I am so sorry you were positive for these viruses. Will pray for your little one like crazy. Luff you and all your family, and the tiny one as well.

PSD - It's a good job I have my contact lenses in or I would have missed that last bit!

Thanks for all the congratulations. We are very excited, but we aren't exactly telling people yet (I forgot that it wasn't just complete strangers that read this!) LOL
So dont tell everyone at church just yet ;)

Congratulations on the top-secret small print exciting news. Rest assured some prayer winging heaven-ward on your behalf.

So sorry about the Ross River/Parvo news. Dare I say at least they came up with specifics. I had something similar 10 years ago and the tests couldn't identify any of the 'usual suspects', just that I was fighting 'something' off. It's easier when you can tell people what it is and they feel sorry for you.

I thought Parvo was what I get our LBD immunised for each year? It gets people too? Or have I just got the wrong disease in my head?

I also thought Parvo was only for canines... poor you. I know that things like Ross River come in wildy varying symptoms, severity and longevity.

I'm guessing you're a tiny bit tired...

CONGRATULATIONS! You'll have a bunch of us mums with 'finished' families living vicariously through you in this pregnancy! Write about it a lot!

Wow - it sounds like it is all happening at once for you.

Congratulations on the secret. I will be praying for you and the whole family.

Yeah, Parvo is a dog + human virus. So sorry. Still love you all, as per my last comment!

Oh gosh my dear, will be thinking of you. Hope you and baby will be fine.

On a lighter note, I am South African, and if I knew you better I would have stuck out my tongue and said, pe we pe we, we won you guys solid! But now I am just getting to know you so I will be nice and timid and say: I am so glad we won you guys for a change in cricket.

Congrats first of all! Second, on the bright side, at least it's not mysterious anymore and now you can be treated.

Last, but certainly not least, I will definitely be keeping you and the little one in my thoughts and prayers. Take care of yourself and get plenty of rest. Hope you are feeling better soon!

Super congratulations and I will really pray for you and be keeping you and precious little one in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care of yourself or let hubby do his bit , put your feet up as much as you can.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

Dear Lord, Please give Jan “peace” at this time. Cover her in your hedge of protection and give her a 'swift' recovery and keep her baby safe.

Fill her with your strength so that she may get through each day, knowing You are there with her every step of the way. I pray for her comfort in knowing You are in control. Amen.

Congratulations on the baby news!

I am so sorry that you have those virus's. Every time a mozzie bites me or the girls I worry about those things.

I hope everything is ok with the parvo and little one inside.
