On Monday I was ill. I had been having terrible fevers all weekend & they weren't getting any better. I felt rotten. My wonderful Mum came over to help me unpack after our holiday & to help me out with the kids.
She also kindly took me to the doctor & did some groceries for me.
I had to get some blood tests done to find out what the fevers were about so mum dropped me off....
Apparently Almond Eyes was quite concerned.....
AE: Will they sew mummy's legs back on tomorrow?
Mama: Oh No darling they aren't going to take her legs off, they are just taking a tiny little bit of blood out of her arm.
AE: Oh, will they sew her arm back on?
Mama: Oh no darling they aren't going to take her arm off. They are just going to put a needle in her arm and make a tiny tiny hole. Then they will put a bandaid on it & it will be all better tomorrow.
AE: Is it a special bandaid?
Mama: Yes.
Later when I returned to the car...
AE: Do you have a special bandaid?
Me: Yes!

Well not quite better. Today I woke up covered from head to toe in a red rash. Off for more blood tests. :(
Aw, that is so sweet. I hope that you are feeling better soon.
Oh, you don't sound well at all, I hope its not serious. Kids have wild imaginations too, wonder why she thought your legs were coming off??? LOL
I hope that they find out what is wrong and can treat it as soon as possible.

They think its just a virus, nothing can be done except wait. Blergh...
