I have a deadline!

My bestie is getting married! YAY!!! She has asked me to be her maid of honor (I refuse to be called a matron!) And well, the dress she has picked for me to wear is stunning! Simply beautiful!

But.... I seriously need to lose about 10-15 Kilos to look any good in it!!

I needed a kick up the rear end to lose a bit a weight. Now I have it!!!
9 months people!! I have 9 Months!!!!

You and me both Babe. I had a sad moment of realisation of fat at the hairdresser today.

PS At my wedding, I didn't want to have "maids" and "matrons" - it's really un-PC anyway, defining a woman by her marital status yet again. I'm not all burn-your-bras, but I don't use language that defines women by their marital status.

So I had "Attendants" - that worked for the 3 men and the 3 women who wore the posh stuff with us on the day.

Attendants is nice!

I still like "Brideswomen" (or "bucketholders" - pronounced the french way where the 't' is silent and the 'u' is long - ask Givinya where that one came from! I dare ya!).
"Attendants" boring, schmoring.

And I LOVE the dress. Pretty, feminine, springlike. Pity you can't hire the body to go into it. I'm suffering from having had access to a full length mirror while I was away. I'm not as fat as that in my head...

OOOh Hire a body! I like that idea!

I hope the weight loss is going well. I did the same thing in July when my best friend got married. I shed about 5 kilos. It was hard work but I was so happy that I made the effort because I was in all the photos!!
