Being a parent.

Do you ever think that if you knew how hard it would be that maybe you wouldn't do it?

Somedays I really feel like I am not cut out for this gig. Today is one of those days.

I love them. A lot.

I just feel like I am doing them a bad service by being their mother.

They wouldn't be the same kids without you. I hope tomorrow is a bit better. I can't imagine how overwhelming parenthood must be, so many decisions to make to help them grow up into their best. You are a hero, even if it doesn't feel like it tonight.

Hang in there babe. Someday soon I hope you get an insight into how super-blessed they aree to have you as their Mother!

Being a parent is great. The other night I SAW something that disgusted me so much that I went out first thing the next morning and bought plural boxes of Combantrin. True Story.

My heart goes out to you. I'm long past the child rearing days but they are never forgotten. But no matter how tough it gets you are the one person in their lives who will "love them for always." They know it, they count on it, it is their sanctuary. blessings, marlene

Yes. I've felt like that, alot. Including the "they'd be better off without me" thoughts. Which is scary, really, and not a thought to be trusted.

I think too many mums push it down and never admit it. That damn Supermum mask we put on and feeling we have to be perfect. When in fact we all feel inadequate sometimes. So I'll admit it.

It gets better. Tomorrow, in a week, in a year, it will get better. Trust in that, trust in yourself, and trust in your family and friends to help you through the tough days.
