How do they do it?

Working mum's that is....

I have been thinking about getting back into the work force lately. Mostly to support my spending habit! Hehe...

Now before you say, but you sew! Yes I do, but that has a very tiny profit margin. It's more a hobby than a job! Unless I went fully gunho with it, but I am worried that the joy will be taken out of it if I do that....

The thought of going back to hairdressing really makes me anxious. I just don't want to do it!
I have thought about doing wedding and formals only, I enjoy that. However that involves saturdays. Blergh.

I am feeling all useless. I don't know what to do!!???

I need another haircut. Possibly wouldn't support your spending habit, though...

What about doing Mobile Hairdressing part time? I think you have a good social group who would love to have you back with scissors in hand (or even a bowl or two of dye, lol). This way you could fit it around the family and earn yourself a litle pocket money at the same time.

I'd come to your place for a haircut!

How do we do it? With very PART-timeness, in my case! I've been doing one day a week. It's a very full-on day and I work flat-strap, but it brings in enough to help greatly. And that leaves me 6 days a week to be a wife & mother. Perfect!

In short... I don't know.

For me though, the thought of going back to work is exciting. I know I am a much better mother when I am not always with my children.

I guess it will mean less time fluffing around on the internet.

Probably more time organising lunches.

Definitely a fair amount of commuting.

Hopefully a high level of satifaction.

And if I'm lucky, a little spending money left over after childcare fees ;)
